Consul General Azlimi Zakaria received a courtesy call from Mr. Wang Qun, Vice Mayor of Nanning Municipal Government on 22 April 2021 at the Chancery. Both of them exchanged views on a wide range of fields for potential cooperation between Malaysia and Guangxi, in particular Nanning City. The Vice Mayor briefed the Consul General on the trading achievements made last year between Malaysia and Guangxi and the latest development of Nanning City. He further proposed to enhance ties and cooperation in such fields such as trade, digital economy and smart city, cross-border e-commerce, and culture.
Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria shares the country’s digital development and unique culture and proposes to have closer ties with Nanning via holding relevant events, such as food or cultural festival.
