In the evening of 10 September 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the courtesy meeting with H.E. Yang Guorui, Vice Minister of National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) of China, at Nanning Liyuan Resort.
The courtesy meeting was part of the program of the 6th ASEAN-China Media Week (ACMW), which was co-hosted by China’s NRTA, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and the People’s Government of Guangxi. After the courtesy meeting, the guests were treated to a welcome banquet hosted by H.E. Yang, followed by the Opening Ceremony of the 6th ACMW.
The opening ceremony was held at Guangxi Culture and Art Centre. The theme for ACMW was Share New Opportunities in People-to-People Exchanges, Jointly Build Future for Audio-visual Cooperation. Malaysian Communications Minister H.E. Ahmad Fahmi Mohamed Fadzil was among the guests of honour to deliver a video speech during the opening ceremony.
