Nanning, 8 August 2018 – Consul General Bong Yik Jui was invited to the opening ceremony of Fantawild Asian Legend Theme Park in Nanning City on 8 August 2018. The selection date for the opening of the Theme Park on 8 August 2018 was in conjunction with the commemoration of ASEAN Day, on 8 August each year.
Jointly invested by Fantawild Holdings and Nanning Qingxiu Mountain Tourism Development Co. Fantawild Asian Legend is a high-tech theme park built around the unique and distinctive cultures of Southeast Asia. The park features state-of-the-art 3D indoor track rides as well as theatre boasting huge spherical screens and phantom imaging technology, presenting to audiences with the splendid scenery, rich history, and vibrant cultures of Southeast Asia by seamlessly combining live-action with state of the art special effects.
At the ceremony, Mr. Ren Haiping, Chairman of Huaqiang Fanta (Nanning) Tourism Development Co. expressed his gratitude to Nanning Tourism Development Committee, Nanning Qingxiu Mountain Management Committee, Consular Missions in Nanning and relevant agencies for their support to the establishment of the Theme Park and expressed hope for all parties to collectively utilise the Theme Park as a platform to promote ASEAN tourism and Nanning development. Also present at the event are Consuls General of Thailand and Cambodia, Nanning Tourism Development Committee, Nanning Qingxiu Mountain Management Committee and Shenzhen Huaqiang Fanta Group.
