On 22 March 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail graced the opening ceremony of the Investment Seminar Malaysia Session.
During his opening remarks, the Consul General highlighted the friendly relations between Malaysia and China. He further shared his insights on expanding and deepening the bilateral trade relations, and he added that Malaysia welcomes high-quality investment and cutting-edge technologies from China.
The Seminar was co-organised by Consulate General of Malaysia in Nanning, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Guangzhou Office and Guangxi Office on Planning, Development and Management of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone (Guangxi Beibu Gulf Office) via hybrid mode, and attended by over 200 business representatives from Malaysia and Guangxi.
Also present the event were Mr. Safwan Nizar Johari, Acting Consul of MIDA Guangzhou, and Mr. Wang Zongwen, Deputy Director-General of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Office.
