Malaysia Investment Briefing Successfully Held in Nanning

On 07 July 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the Malaysia Investment Briefing: A Stable Choice for Southeast Asian Markets, at the China-ASEAN Business Centre, Nanning.  

Co-hosted by Malaysia Guangxi Chamber of Commerce and Negeri Sembilan State Government, Malaysia, the briefing was held to better understanding to the Chinese enterprises on Malaysia’s investment opportunities under the RCEP framework. The event managed to bring together nearly 80 participants including 12 from Malaysia.  

During the event, YB Teo Kok Seong, State Executive Councilor and Chairman of the Negeri Sembilan State Industrial and Non-Islamic Affairs Action Committee gave a presentation on the latest investment policy benefits and opportunities in Malaysia’s Vision Valley located in Negeri Sembilan.

 

The participants were also briefed on Malaysia’s business environment and practical guidance for market entry such as company registration practices and key tax incentives, key regulations for foreign investment in Malaysia, incentive policies and comprehensive supporting services of Malaysian industrial parks, Malaysia’s overseas warehouse strategy, competitive advantages and tariff optimization.    

Also in attendance were Dato’ Looi Hei Tyng, President of Malaysia Guangxi Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Tang Hai, Executive Director of China-ASEAN Business Centre and Mr. Qin Jian, Deputy Director of Nanning Foreign Affairs Office.
