Malaysia’s trade continued its stellar performance, maintaining upward trajectory in November 2021. Trade grew by 34.9% y-o-y (RM205.5 billion), the highest monthly value, breaching RM200 billion for two successive months. Exports rose by 32.4% (RM112.2 billion), 15th consecutive month of expansion. Imports and trade surplus increased by 38% (RM93.3 billion) and 10.5% (RM18.9 billion).
