On 26 September 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail held a meeting with Mr. Liao Bin, Division-Rank Senior Member of the Publicity Department of CPC Nanning Municipal Committee, at the Chancery.
The discussions focused on the upcoming 3rd China –ASEAN (Nanning) Cultural Month and the 12th China-ASEAN (Nanning) Theatre Week, which will take place in Nanning on 23 October and 28 October 2025, respectively.
The Consul General highlighted the event as a good opportunity to showcase the unique and often lesser-known aspects of Malaysian culture to the local community. He also welcomed the initiatives launched by local government that could deepen the understanding of each other’s culture and enhance the connectivity between Guangxi and Malaysia.
