On 28 August 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail met with Ms. Chen Yanhui, Deputy Director General of Guangxi Industrial Park Reform and Development Office, at the Chancery.
The discussions focused on the 2025 China-ASEAN Industrial Cooperation Zone and ASEAN Industrial Parks Dialogue Conference which will take place on 19 September 2025 in Nanning.
Both sides also exchanged views on enhancing economic and trade collaboration between Malaysia and China through facilitating the upgrading development of China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP) and Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP).
