On 12 August 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail met with Ms. Liang Ying, Director of ASEAN Division of Guangxi Foreign Affairs Office, at the Chancery.
The Consul General reaffirmed Malaysia’s full support to China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS). He also shared what Malaysia has been done after receiving invitation to be the Country of Honour for the 21st CAEXPO and CABIS. Both sides also exchange views on enhancing communication and collaboration to ensure better preparation for the upcoming event in September.
