On 16 August 2024, Consul General Mr. Phadil Ismail participated in a group meeting with H.E. Liu Ning, Party Secretary of CPC Guangxi Committee, at the International Convention Centre of Liyuan Resort.
During the meeting, the Consuls General of the ASEAN Missions in Nanning received briefing from Party Secretary H.E. Liu Ning on the guiding principles of the 20th CPC Central Committee, which was convened in Beijing from 15 to 18 July 2024. Mr. Liu Ning also shared the general information of Guangxi’s economic and social development and opening up.
Following the briefing, the Consul General extended his congratulations on the victorious conclusion of the Session. He then commended the continuous enhancement in China’s deepening of reform, and the ongoing promotion of high-standard opening up, which gave a strong impetus to pursue common development for China and ASEAN member countries.
Also in attendance were Consuls-General of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam in Nanning, and senior officials from the Guangxi Publicity Department and Guangxi Foreign Affairs Office.
