In the afternoon of 22 August 2024, Consul General Mr. Phadil Ismail attended the meeting with Ms. Li Fang, Deputy Director General of Guizhou Department of Culture and Tourism at the latter’s office in Guiyang, Guizhou.
During the meeting, both sides introduced each other’s unique tourism resources and had a fruitful discussion on ways for both sides to further expand tourism collaboration.
The Consul General welcomed the good progress in the launching of the chartered flight between Kuala Lumpur and Guiyang. He also shared his insights on promoting packages that catered to each other’s market and specific groups such as Muslim group.
Also in attendance were Mr. Lee Thai Hung, Tourism Malaysia’s Deputy Director General (Promotion II) and Mr. Aaron Gan Chai Heng, Tourism Consul of Malaysia in Guangzhou.
