On 18 March 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail met with Mr. Liu Xiang, Deputy Director General of Guangxi Department of Commerce at the latter’s office.
Both sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern such as the 5th Joint Cooperation Council Meeting on “Two Countries, Twin Parks” as well as opportunities for Malaysia and Guangxi to further two-way investment and trade cooperation.
Also in attendance were Mr. Safwan Nizar Johari, Acting Investment Consul of Malaysia in Guangzhou and Deputy Director of MIDA Guangzhou.
