On 27 January 2025, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail held a meeting with Ms. Pan Yan, Vice Chairperson of Guangxi Women’s Federation, at the Chancery.
The discussion focused on facilitating the exchanges and collaboration in the cause of women and children between Guangxi and Malaysia. The Consul General highlighted the significant role of women in family cohesion and socio-economic progress. He stressed that Malaysia is advancing gender parity and diversity in both the public and private sectors. Furthermore, he encouraged the agency to continue enhancing engagement with women’s organizations in Malaysia that would foster closer ties and better understanding through knowledge sharing and mutual learning.
