On September 18, Mr. Azlimi Zakaria, Consul General of Malaysia paid a courtesy call on Mr. Zhang Mingquan, Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Guiyang City.
Mr. Azlimi Zakaria noted, Guiyang is a charming city with rich natural views and diversified ethnic culture which is similar as Malaysia. Guiyang also enjoys rapid growth in recent years attributed to its fast development in infrastructure, big data and tourism etc.
Mr. Azlimi Zakaria said, Malaysia and Guiyang have great cooperation potential in various fields, for instance, digital economy and eco-tourism etc. Malaysia also has a dynamic and competitive business environment and we welcome the investment from Guiyang and companies from other parts from China. Meanwhile, Malaysia was always supported the Chinese Belt and Road initiatives and the Consulate General is ready to support the development of Guiyang City and Guizhou province.
