On 28 February 2026, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the reception to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the Grand Metropark Hotel. The event was hosted by Ms. Khaing Su Linn, Consul General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nanning.
The event was graced by H.E. Lu Xinning, Vice Governor of Guangxi People’s Government. Also in attendance were members of the diplomatic community, officials of local government agencies, as well as representatives of learning institutions and business community.
