In the evening of 21 January 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the 2025 Spring Festival Reception hosted by Vice Mayor of Nanning Mr. Liu Zongxiao, at Na Lotus Hotel. The event was organized by Nanning Foreign Affairs Office (FAO).
In his remarks, Mr. Liu highlighted the city’s economic development, trade performance with ASEAN countries and its engagement with ASEAN missions in Nanning in 2024. He commended ASEAN missions’ efforts in contributing the remarkable achievement. He also called on ASEAN missions’ continuous support in promoting exchanges and cooperation between Nanning and ASEAN countries in areas of economy, culture, science and education and people to people connectivity.
