On 21 September 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended a meeting with Runjian Co., Ltd. and witnessed the exchange of MoU between Malaysia’s NEUON AI Sdn Bhd and Runjian Co., Ltd.

The MoU focused on collaboration on automated harvesting technology for black pepper crops in Sarawak State, Malaysia, as well as Beidou system application in oil palm plantation. During the discussion, both sides explored ways to increase the productivity of Malaysia’s oil palm and local agricultural products through technology collaboration. They also discussed potential cooperation with Runjian on the construction of the Sarawak intelligent computing centre.


Founded in 2003, Runjian is a China-based listed company offering communication network construction, network maintenance, network optimization services. The company has established cooperation with Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and other ASEAN countries, with focus on renewable energy, data centre and AI application.
