On 20 September 2024, Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor participated in the Opening Ceremony of Belt and Road Youth Science and Cultural Exchange Event (Guangxi), at Guangxi Science and Technology Museum.

The event was also participated by other diplomats from ASEAN missions in Nanning and local officials. It was attended by around 200 participants, including teachers and students from China and eight BRI participating countries, such as Cambodia, Egypt and Thailand. A total of 14 students and teachers from Penang and Sabah, Malaysia joined the event.

The seven-day event has provided great opportunities for the young people from different countries to engage in knowledge sharing on science and technology. It has also built a good platform for them to enhance friendship and mutual understanding through cultural exchanges and other activities.
