NANNING, 27 May 2019 – It is with deep sorrow that the Consulate General of Malaysia has opened a Condolence Book on 27-28 May 2019 on the demise of Pahang’s Al-Marhum Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar on 22 May 2019. Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah, 88, was the fifth Sultan of Pahang (1974-2019), former Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia (1979-1984) and the father of the current Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
Representatives from Foreign Affairs Offices of Guangxi and Nanning, as well as Consuls General in Nanning signed the Condolence Book and paid their respect on the late Al-Marhum Sultan.
