On 06 November 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the opening ceremony of the Smart Agriculture Expo 2025, at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, under the theme “Intelligent Manufacturing for Agriculture, Digital Connectivity for Rural Revitalization”.
Vice Minister H.E. Jiang Wensheng of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China and Vice Governor of Guangxi People’s Government H.E. Xu Xianhui addressed the opening, emphasizing smart agriculture’s role in advancing modern agriculture and rural revitalization.
The Expo featured nearly 1,000 innovations from over 200 exhibitors from more than ten countries. Highlights included AI-driven solutions, smart equipment, and digital rural technologies. The event managed to attract close to 20,000 visitors and professional buyers from 23 countries.
