In the afternoon of 13 January 2025, the Consulate General of Malaysia welcomed a group of student ambassadors and teachers from AISL Harrow Nanning.

The students were given presentation by Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor on the general functions of the consular counter, helping them gain a better understanding on what services that the Consulate provides.

After the tour at consular counter, the students met with the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail who talk about his career and the differences between an Embassy and a Consulate. The students were then engaged into a question and answer session where they managed to get a clearer picture of the role of being a diplomat.


At the end of the meeting, the Consul General presented the students with the school’s Student Ambassador Certificate. A total of 21 students received the honour for successfully completing the programme and demonstrating student leadership.
