In the afternoon of 19 January 2024, a group of 14 students from Harrow Nanning who were part of the school’s 2023 Student Ambassador Program visited the Consulate General to learn about its role and cultures of Malaysia.
The group was welcomed by Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mandor, where she briefed on the functions of consular sections to the students.
The students were further briefed on the overall operation of the Consulate General, the history and culture of Malaysia by the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail. A question-and-answer session was organized to help the students better understand about Malaysia.
The students were also offered the opportunity to savour traditional Malay delicacies, such as kuih kasturi, kuih tepung pelita, kek lapis Sarawak and teh tarik.
