On 01 November 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the closing ceremony of the 12th China-ASEAN Nanning Theatre Week 2025, at the Nanning People’s Theatre.
The week-long festival treated audiences to a rich program of 25 performances by troupes from China and ASEAN. These stage shows were further complemented by three insightful seminars on intangible cultural heritage, an art exhibition, and a workshop.
As a signature event on the regional cultural calendar, the Theater Week has cemented its role as a vital platform for demonstrating artistic charm and promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and ASEAN
