On 11 April 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the Opening Ceremony of the 19th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference and relevant sideline events hosted by Guizhou People’s Government in Anshun City, Guizhou Province.
Themed “Integrated Attractions and City Development: Building a World-Class Tourist Destination”, the event managed to gather over 400 government officials, domestic and international travel professionals and industry specialists to share their insights on sustainable tourism, digital transforation and evolving consumer preferences.
During the event, Ms. Iris Liang, Marketting Officer of Tourism Malaysia Guangzhou Office joined the networking session to promote Malaysia’s tourism.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including H.E. Xu Lin, Party Secretary of CPC Guizhou Committee and H.E. Li Bingjun, Governor of Guizhou People’s Government.
