On 23 October 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the launching ceremony of the 3rd China-ASEAN (Nanning) Culture Month and the 2025 China-ASEAN Foodie Fair, in Nanning, Guangxi.
The Foodie Fair was held from October 23 to 26 at the Nanning Folk Song Lake International Music Town. The Fair served as one of the kick-off events for the 3rd China-ASEAN (Nanning) Culture Month, attracting nearly one hundred Chinese and local-based foreign exhibitors.

The event featured a diverse array of flavors from China and ASEAN countries. A local Malaysian-run restaurant, Nanyang Xiaozhu, showcased authentic delicacies such as colorful Kuih (Nyonya cakes) and flavorful Malaysian satay.
