On 30 October 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the Award Ceremony of AI Empowers Cross-Industry Super League and Market Supervision Service Innovation Application Competition, at the Guangxi and Radio Television Studio.

Kicking off on 19 July, the competition attracted over 1,300 teams from China and more than 100 from ASEAN countries, with 40 teams including two from Malaysia namely Universiti Malaya and Xiamen University Malaysia advancing to the finals. The event featured three distinct tracks, challenging the participants to develop AI and innovative solutions for critical areas like food safety, credit supervision, and intellectual property protection.
Apart from providing an AI platform, the competition acts as a vital catalyst that bridges the gap between innovative concepts and their practical application in the real world.
