On 19 and 20 June 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the China-ASEAN Digital Governance Dialogue and the APEC Symposium on Green and Low-carbon Transition through Digital Technologies, at the Shangri-La Guilin.
During the meeting, Mr. Bazarul Mazni Baharuddin, Undersecretary of Digital Acculturation Division, Ministry of Digital and Mr. Lee Hwee Hsiung, Head of Department Cyber Security Professional Development, CyberSecurity Malaysia shared their insights on the topic of Artificial Intelligence Governance and Cooperation on Cybersecurity Emergency Response respectively.
The Dialogue was hosted by Cyberspace Administration of China, and co-organized by Guangxi Cyberspace Administration and Guilin Municipal People's Government, with objectives to promoting policy sharing, expanding consensus, and deepening cooperation between China and ASEAN member countries in the field of digital governance.
