On 29 June 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the opening ceremony of China-ASEAN Rail Transit Standardization Exchange and Mutual Learning Event, at Red Forest Hotel, in Nanning.
Hosted by the Guangxi Administration for Market Regulation, the event aims to promote mutual learning of technology and experience in the field of rail transit between China and ASEAN member countries.
During the event, Mr Muslizam bin Musa from the Malaysia Rail Development Corporation presented Malaysia’s experience and the development of railway system in Malaysia since the early centuries. Also in attendance were representatives from the Malaysia Rail Link Sdn. Bhd.
