On 07 August 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail met with Mr. Lu Zhengning, Deputy Director General Guangxi Radio and Television Administration, at the Chancery.
The Consul General received briefing from Mr. Lu on the major outcomes of the 5th ASEAN-China Media Week (ACMW) that was held in October 2023 in Kuala Lumpur. He then expressed mission’s support to the 6th ACMW, which is scheduled to be held on 10 September 2024.
Both sides also had fruitful discussions on strengthening collaborations between China and Malaysia in areas such as media, audio-visual industry and people to people exchanges.
