On 04 June 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail held a meeting with Mr. Pang Jun, Chief of Guangxi Medical Security Bureau, at the Chancery.
The discussion focused on enhancing regional medical and healthcare collaboration between China and Malaysia through the China-ASEAN Regional Pharmaceutical Trading (Centralized Procurement) Platform, which was officially launched in January 2025 in Fangchenggang. It is the first cross-border pharmaceutical centralized procurement platform guided by China’s National Healthcare Security Administration, providing information service in areas such as centralized procurement of medicines and consumables as well as industry standards and regulations for government agencies, companies and organizations that involved in medical and healthcare sector.
