On 24 July 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail held a meeting with Mr. Liu Zhe, Deputy Director-General of Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, at the Chancery.
During the meeting, the Consul General was briefed by Mr. Liu on the upcoming 2025 ASEAN-China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and its sideline events. Hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China, the Roundtable will be convened on 15 September 2025 in Guilin, Guangxi.
The Consul General expressed Malaysia’s support on any activities and initiatives launched by local government that would lead to practical and mutually beneficial collaboration between Malaysia and China.
