On 19 August 2024, Consul General Mr. Phadil Ismail met with Mr. Deng Xiushan, Vice President of Guangxi Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of LYB, at the Chancery.
The Consul General was briefed on the general information and major business of LYB, which is a Nanning-based technology company that provides sustainable solutions to manage solid organic waste. The company also promotes precision fertilization in agriculture and forestry industry.
The Consul General expressed that Malaysia welcomes the opportunity to work with China in modern agriculture, energy-saving and green economy. He then stressed that technology plays a significant role in increasing efficiency, productivity, and advancing sustainable development.
