On 16 November, 2024, Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor participated in the Yongjiang Forum 2024, at the Nanning Na-Lotus Hotel.
With the theme “Exchange, Cooperation and Innovation: the Internationalization of China-ASEAN Higher Education”, the event managed to gather over 300 experts and scholars from China and ASEAN countries to share their insights on promoting the internationalization of China-ASEAN higher education. They also had fruitful discussions on ways to expand collaboration in areas of culture, education, tourism and youths exchanges between China and ASEAN countries.
During the round-table session, Dr. Lai Soon Onn, Deputy Director of International Communication Division of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) shared the advantages of studying in Malaysia with diversity in races, cultures and languages. He also took the opportunity to promote UTAR and its internationalization strategies that makes the university as one of the best options for higher learning institutions in Malaysia.
