New Quiet room at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

03 February 2023 1 views
In conjunction with the United Nations (UN)’s “Week of Understanding of Religions and Opinions” from 1-7 February, it’s such welcoming sight to see Helsinki-Vantaa Airport authorities reopening the new Quiet room for the convenience of travellers intending to perform their religious beliefs and obligations despite their faith.
For information, the first quiet space was opened in Helsinki-Vantaa way back in 1986, but due to renovations it was closed in 2009.
Kudos to such an initiative! We are sure many are happy that the necessary authorities have met this need again.
May we all learn to be tolerant, understanding, and respecting of one another especially in these testing times.
