ASEAN Helsinki Committee had the pleasure of visiting the University of Tartu on 16 April 2026.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to engage with one of Estonia’s most distinguished academic institutions, known for its strong emphasis on research, innovation, and international collaboration. The delegation was briefed on the university’s academic strengths, ongoing research initiatives, and its role in advancing science, technology, and education both nationally and globally.
The exchange also highlighted potential avenues for academic and institutional cooperation between the University of Tartu and institutions across ASEAN member states, particularly in areas such as higher education partnerships, research collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
