The Permanent Delegation of Brazil to UNESCO invited Malaysia to be represented during the 1st Political Process Preparatory Committee Meeting (PrepCom) of the 8th World Water Forum at UNESCO Headquarters on 13-14 December 2017.
During the first day, an overview of the 8th World Water Forum was presented. Participants also had a chance to reflect on some of the themes of the aforementioned Forum. There was active participation when the themes of people, funding, and infrastructure were discussed. The second day focused on discussions on the political declaration.
