Blessed by a superb weather, more than 350 Malaysians and students thronged the Rumah Malaysia to attend the Aidilfitri Open House hosted by the Ambassador of Malaysia to France, H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal and wife, Puan Sri Rositah Mohd. Mawi.
2. The function which began at 8.30 pm saw everyone treated to an array of popular Hari Raya dishes such as satay, rendang, nasi tomato, ayam masak merah, wajik and teh tarik prepared by Perwakilan, the Malaysian Ladies Association under the guidance of Puan Sri Rositah Mohd. Mawi.
3. The Hari Raya open house celebration was one of the main festive celebrations organized by the Embassy, which are now popular events amongst Malaysians in Paris and France at large. Malaysian students took some time off their studies to attend the celebration and to savour Malaysian food. The autumm weather did not prevent the ladies from coming in their elegant baju kurung or kebaya while some men wore colourful baju melayu and batik shirts. The French guests who were at the reception had a great time sampling the variety of traditional Malaysian food being served. Many of them were spouses of Malaysians or who have working closely with the Embassy.
