It was a festive ambiance at Rumah Malaysia on the first day of Syawal last 25 June 2017. Blessed by a superb weather, more than 100 Malaysians and students together with their families and friends thronged the Rumah Malaysia to attend the Aidilfitri Open House hosted by H.E. Datuk Ibrahim Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to France.
The guests were treated to traditional Malaysian Hari Raya cuisines, such as nasi tomato, ayam masak merah, dalca daging, acar rampai, satay, rendang and kuah lodeh. The children were also thrilled to receive Hari Raya ‘money packets’ from H.E. Ambassador at the Open house.
The Hari Raya Open House celebration was one of the main festive celebrations organized by the Embassy, which is now a popular event amongst Malaysians in Paris and France at large. Malaysian students took some time off their studies to attend the celebration and to savour Malaysian food. The French guests who were at the reception had a great time sampling the variety of traditional Malaysian food being served.
