H.E. Ambassador Tan Sri Ismail Omar chaired the ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP) meeting on 18 March 2015. Malaysia currently holds the Chairmanship of the APC from February to May 2015.
The ACP is a medium where the ASEAN Ambassadors meet and discuss on how to increase the ASEAN visibility in France as well as to enhance their networking with various French agencies.
A presentation on the gas industry in Southeast Asia was given by Madam Maria van der Hoeven, the Executive Director of International Energy Agency (IEA) during the meeting.
The meeting ended by a luncheon hosted by H.E. Ambassador, for the ASEAN Ambassadors and the IEA officials, held at his Residence ‘Rumah Malaysia’.
