On 10 April 2020, H.E. Dato’ Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar participated in the ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP) Ambassadors’ Meeting, which was conducted online to respect social distancing. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Ambassador Sarun Charoensuwan of Thailand.
Issues pertaining to COVID-19 took the centre stage during the meeting. Among others, the Ambassadors shared the situation back in their respective capitals as well as the situation faced by their nationals in France. The Ambassadors also shared their individual assessments on the impacts of COVID-19 on the economy, politics and diplomacy.
