On 22 January 2020, Malaysia participated in the ASEAN Community in Paris Working Group (ACP WG) Meeting which was held at the Indonesian Embassy, the current rotational chair. The Meeting was chaired by Ms. Lydia Safitri, First Secretary at the Embassy of Indonesia in Paris.
The meeting among others discussed ACP’s best way to approach France. With the exciting political development burgeoning in France and Europe, ACP activities need to be strategically tailored to bridge the needs of both France and ASEAN. Among others, the working group has coordinated and organised several outreach and high-level meetings for ACP.
Malaysia was represented by Mr. Syed Nizamuddin Bin Sayed Khassim, First Secretary at the meeting.
