The event was not only aimed at bringing the ASEAN community close together but also to further strengthening friendship and cooperation among the members of ASEAN embassies in Paris.
Speaking at the event, Malaysian Ambassador to France His Excellency Tan Sri Ismail Omar stated that the ASEAN Family Day gathering provided a good opportunity to reinforce the esprit-de- corps and camaraderie among the ASEAN families in Paris. The Embassy of Malaysia is the organiser of the ASEAN Family Day this year.
This year’s gathering included various performances organised by the different Embassies including an Asean Fashion Show, traditional musical instrument and a musical band performance.
Other than the food stand, tombola prizes and games for both adults and children were also organised by the embassies.
