H.E. Tan Sri Ismail Omar, Ambassador of Malaysia to France, attended the Battersea Power Station reception to celebrate the launching event of the company’s Global Tour held on October 29, 2014 at the British Embassy in Paris.
Also present at the launching event were H.E Sir Peter Ricketts, British Ambassador to France and Madam Joanne Skilton, Battersea Power Station Head of Commercial and over 200 invited guests.
The Global Tour is for Battersea Power Station to showcase the latest phase of the Battersea Power Station redevelopment in London – the High Street and the commercial elements of the Power Station itself.
Paris is one of a small number of specially selected cities around the world where Battersea Power Station is exhibiting – others include New York, LA, Milan, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai and Doha.
The Battersea Power Station site is owned by a consortium of Malaysian investors comprising S P Setia, Sime Darby and the Employees Providend Fund. The development management of the project is being undertaken by British based, Battersea Power Station Development company.
