On the occasion of the Ramadan, a breaking of fast was held at the multi-purpose hall of the Embassy of Malaysia on Friday, 5 August 2011. The function, graced by H.E. Ambassador Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, was attended by about 100 people including HBS of the Embassy and Malaysian agencies, other Malaysians and also students in Paris.
The objective of the gathering was to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and to nurture silaturahim among Muslims particularly Malaysians. Maghrib and Isya’ prayers as well as the Solat Terawih, were performed in congregation.
