CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE ASEAN COMMITTEE IN PARIS
Malaysia takes over the Chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Paris from Lao PDR at the ASEAN Ambassadorial meeting on 8 September 2022.
In receiving the gavel from H.E. Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth, symbolising the handover, H.E. Dato’ Mohd. Zamruni Khalid thanked Lao PDR for a successful Chairmanship and expressed Malaysia’s commitment to further strengthen the friendship of the ASEAN community in France, foster closer cooperation with the French Government and promote ASEAN’s interests and identity.
