Commemoration ceremony of the 77th anniversary of the Victory of May 8, 1945
Today marks the 77th anniversary of the Victory in Europe Day. In Paris, French President, Emmanuel Macron and Officials lay wreaths on the tomb of the fallen soldiers at Arc de Triomphe. Representing the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris on this day of remembrance, Defence Attaché, Captain Kamaruddin Omar and First Secretary Syed Nizamuddin Sayed Khassim. May 8th commemorates the victory of the Allies over Germany.
