On April 18, 2018, YBhg. Dato’ Zailani Safari, CEO of the Technology Depository Agency (TDA) and his team made a courtesy call on Puan Farisha Salman, Counsellor, at the Embassy of Malaysia. Mr. Ong Tze Shen, First Secretary; and Mr. Tye, Marketing Officer from MATRADE Paris were also in attendance. TDA along with representatives from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) were in Paris from 15-18 April 2018 to attend the Global Industrial Cooperation Conference (GICC).
During the meeting, CEO TDA provided a briefing on the core functions of his agency which are to manage, administer and monitor all Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) activities implementation in Malaysia to ensure those comply with the processes and requirements as stipulated in the Malaysian ICP Management Framework. In addition to talking about offset programmes and clearing houses, discussions were also held on industries such as cybersecurity, thermal imaging, public transportation, on-board entertainment systems, and aerospace.
