On 21 October 2016, H.E. Dato’ Ibrahim Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to France received a courtesy call on Mr. Kazi Enyat ULLAH, Secretary General AEBA. As a follow up to the 12 April 2016 call, the latter provided updates on the progress made in preparing for the Inaugural the Bangladesh Global Summit in Kuala Lumpur on 19-20 November 2016.
Through the Bangladesh Global Summit, participants and others who are involved will have the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge in a path to broaden contacts with Malaysians, gain insights on prospects in Malaysia, and experience the best Malaysia has to offer. Potentially lucrative prospects and collaboration between the business communities of Malaysia and Bangladesh in third countries may also be explored during the Summit.
The selection of Kuala Lumpur as the venue for the inaugural Bangladesh Global Summit provides an opportunity for Malaysia to showcase the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) market segment offered by us.
