On 17 March 2016 H.E. Dato’ Ibrahim Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to France made a courtesy call on Mr. Jérôme Bignon, rapporteur of the committee for planning and sustainable development in the French Senate.
This meeting was arranged as part of the ongoing efforts to get acquainted with officials and MPs. The meeting provided a platform for many issues to be discussed including that of palm oil.
After the cordial, constructive, and open exchange of views, there was an opportunity to continue engagements in a relaxed environment over coffee. Ambassador was then hosted for a tour around the Senate by Mr. Bignon.
