A delegation from Arkema , France led by Mr. Marc Schuller, Executive Vice President of Industrial Chemicals and Mr. Christophe Andre, Managing Director Thiochemicals made a courtesy call on H.E. Tan Sri Ismail Omar, Ambassador of Malaysia to France, at the Embassy of Malaysia on 17 March 2014.
ARKEMA has two plants based in Malaysia namely Arkema Thiochemicals Sdn Bhd and CJ Bio Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Both plants are located at Kertih Polymer Park in Terengganu. Arkema Thiochemicals Sdn Bhd has a total investment worth RM 795.5 million while CJ Bio Malaysia Sdn Bhd is worth RM 750 million in Phase 1 and RM 400 million in Phase 2.
